Official Pack53 Uniform Inspection Checklist

The Pack's annual Uniform Inspection will take place at the January Pack meeting.  Cubs are graded on their appearance as follows:

• 20 points - General Appearance
  • 4 points for each:  good posture, clean face and hands, hair combed, neatly dressed, clean fingernails.
• 5 points - Cap
  • Correct cap should be worn according to Den (Tiger, Wolf, Bear, or Webelos).  Webelos activity badges are worn on the plaid front panel of the Webelos cap.
• 5 points - Neckerchief and Slide
  • Correct neckerchief and slide for each Den.
• 15 points - Shirt
  • Official long- or short-sleeved shirt.  If tan shirt is worn for Webelos, need blue shoulder loops on epaulets.
• 5 points - Belt
  • Official blue web belt with Tiger Cub, Cub Scout, or Webelos insignia on buckle.  
• 15 points - Pants or Shorts
  • Official, pressed; with no cuffs.  Blue pants with blue shirt or olive pants with tan Webelos shirt.
  • Pack53 will accept any navy blue pant with belt loops, in lieu of the official requirement listed above.
• 5 points - Socks
  • Official blue socks with orange tops for Tiger Cubs and gold tops for Cub Scouts.  Webelos Scouts wearing optional tan/olive uniform wear official Boy Scout olive socks.
  • Pack53 will accept any navy blue socks, in lieu of the official requirement listed above.
• 5 points - Shoes
  • Neat and clean.
• 5 points - Registration
  • Current membership card or temporary certificate on person.
• 20 points - Insignia
  • Correct placement, 5 points each: left pocket, right pocket, left sleeve, right sleeve.
